LICENSED MENTAL HEALTH THERAPIST IN MIAMI AND SOUTH FLORIDA

Anette Yemat, LMHC

I believe everyone deserves a space where they feel seen, heard, and supported.

My passion for mental health began while serving the homeless community in my hometown. Listening to the stories of individuals facing incredible challenges—and witnessing the barriers many experienced when trying to access mental health care—inspired me to pursue a career in counseling. Those experiences continue to shape the way I support my clients today, reminding me that every story deserves compassion, dignity, and understanding.

On mission to break the stigma around therapy.

As a Latina clinician, my personal mission is to help reduce the stigma surrounding mental health in the Hispanic and Latinx community. Whether through advocacy, education, or direct therapy, I strive to make mental health care feel accessible, approachable, and empowering.

Values that guide my practice.
